Description of the
Event
The aim of autotesting is to get around a set course in the fastest time,
without getting a penalty for hitting a pylon or stopping on a line incorrectly. The
Grasshopper is held on smooth grass and all of the tests are in a forwards direction only,
barring mistakes. The ability to do handbrake turns is a useful addition. A feature of the
clubsport part of the event, is the need to carry a passenger in the
front of the car.
The Grasshopper is a round of the Southern
and CSMA Off-Road and North London Centre championships.
